From 14-day proof to 500+ daily users at a Tier-1 EPC
Tier-1 Australian EPC. Construction and infrastructure. 2024–2025. Customer name withheld under commercial agreement.
Started with one document-search workflow on live project data, then expanded only after the proof held.
Data included
Issued specifications, drawings, SWMS, prior correspondence, and standards referenced by the project. Uncontrolled local copies were excluded from the first proof.
Evaluation
- Correct answer: reviewer confirmed the clause and project context.
- Citation precision: reviewer-judged source pointer (document, version, location). 95%+ is this measure on the evaluation set.
- Findability: time-to-locate a controlling document on sampled search tasks, before vs after. On this evaluation set that comparison was a 300% findability improvement. It is a time-to-locate result — not a productivity or revenue claim.
- Adoption: unique authenticated operators with at least one query per day after 90-day rollout.
- ~4 hours saved per employee per week: self-reported search/retrieval time vs prior process.
Sequence
